Le Chat Noir
Le Chat Noir is located downtown at 304 8th Street (at the corner of 8th and Ellis). The theatre is recognized as the best thing to happen to the Augusta Culture scene in years. An intimate 80 seat theatre with opening night "cabaret" style tables serving wine and platters make Le Chat Noir a top date destination. There is an adjacent bar room to mix and mingle in prior to and after the shows. The theatre is headed up by the best talent to be found in the area, their productions are beyond the quality of most regional theatre houses. Typical productions include Keely and Du, The Pillowman, Killer Joe, Sordid Lives and more. Our cabaret performances will be $85 per couple; which includes 2 tickets to a
performance, a table for 2, a bottle of wine (or beverages of equal value) and
some sort of dessert or finger food, depending on the show.
Due to the increasing popularity of the cabaret performances, we are offering a
Cabaret Season Subscription. The cost is $385; it includes the caberet package
for 5 shows (there will not be a cabaret performance of the Grand Guignol), 2
tickets to the Grand Guignol : Theatre of Horror, 2 invites to the Black
Cat Ball, and 2 invites to the 08-09 Wrap Party.
All sales are final. No refunds. No exchanges on tickets. Season Subscribers
may change their performance date more than 1 week prior to the performance at
no cost, 3 - 6 days prior to the performance there will be a change fee of
$10, and no exchanges will be allowed less than 3 days prior to the
performance.
Latecomers are not guaranteed seats. Unclaimed seats will be released 10
minutes prior to curtain. If you arrive late, or leave once the performance has
begun; entry and re-entry are at the discretion of the House Manager.
